A special surprise for three children at Saint Mary Catholic School in Mobile Friday afternoon. Their dad, U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel John Kilpatrick returned early from a deployment to Kuwait and went to the school during a school to see the children who didn’t expect him home until March.
During a school assembly, the principal introduced Kilpatrick and he received a warm welcome from his daughter kate, and sons Owen and Henry. Kilpatrick who deployed on June 12, 2015 said, “I’m definitely happy to be home for sure”.
