To reach a mental health professional directly, ask for extension 102.

To reach a peer support specialist directly, ask for extension 103.

Because the situation is continually changing, our response is evolving along with it. We encourage you to contact our clinic should you have any questions.

What we know:

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to rise both in the state and in our region. We expect our understanding of the situation to continually evolve as testing becomes more widespread.

  • We know that the populations most susceptible to Covid-19 are the elderly and the immunocompromised. Those with comorbid conditions have also been identified as “possibly” more susceptible.
  • We know that children appear to be less affected by Covid-19. Transmission rates to children remain very low worldwide. There are no reported deaths of children in China from Covid-19.
  • We know that mortality from Covid-19 increases with age.
  • We know that travel to endemic areas in the world increases the risk of contracting Covid-19.
  • We are doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We have redoubled our efforts to maintain a clean and sanitary clinic. In addition, we have updated all procedures and trained all personnel on the importance of limiting exposure.
  • You, too, have an important role to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The CDC has excellent recommendations: Click Here to Read More

What to do if you have symptoms:

If you have flu-like symptoms that include, fever, runny nose, cough, headache, body aches or chills, you must refrain from attending your appointments at our clinic. We can either reschedule your appointment or provide you tele-health services at

If you have known exposure to COVID-19, do not report to a hospital or medical clinic without first calling the clinic or hospital where you intend to go. Based on your situation, medical professionals will provide specific advice on where to go for testing. Upon receipt of your test results, they will recommend further action on your part.

We have a few clients who have immunocompromised conditions. If you are one of those clients, we ask that you be especially vigilant in contact with others, and to call any health provider before making an in-person visit.

However, if you need emotional support, we have the means to provide counseling even if you suspect having COVID-19. With remote counseling, you can get the care you need.  Go to to talk to a care provider. If one is not available at the moment, know that we will be back in touch as quickly as possible.

We encourage our clients to wash hands frequently. Report exposure to COVID-19 immediately.

We’re All In This Together.

Even as the situation changes from day to day, one key principle remains constant: Our willingness to adapt and to follow closely authoritative healthcare advice is the surest way to minimize the threat of the COVID-19 virus.

So we stand with our clients to ensure that each of you gets the care and attention you need during this stressful time.

Take care of yourself and each other. Just the way we take care of you.
