health crisis in our area and educate community
members on the value of building resiliency.
Course Expectations
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour in-person training provided by certified instructors.
Instructors follow a curriculum and lead the group through a series of activities.
Expect to learn, interact with your classmates, and have fun.

Classes are limited and registration is taken on a first come, first serve basis so please register early.
Please note that participants must complete all 8 hours of the course and a final evaluation to receive a certification which lasts two years.
Training Cost
We are proud to offer Mental Health First Aid at a discounted rate of $30 per person (a $170 value). This fee covers the cost of a participant manual, supplies, and refreshments and lunch. If you have concerns about the cost, contact Melissa McKnight at msm@vetsrecover.org.
