Community Integration Program Manager

Veterans Recovery Resources (VRR) invites applications for Community Integration Program Manager. An advanced degree in public health, law or related field is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience working with community groups and health care providers; background in working with inter-disciplinary behavioral health teams is preferred. Must have experience in federal grant management and oversight. Experience working with trauma, SUDs, and co-occurring conditions is preferred. Must have willingness to commit to VRR’s organizational values (e.g., compassion, justice and equity) and operational principles (e.g., holistic, person-centered, evidence-based care). The Community Integration Program Manager will coordinate outreach and community-based initiatives with local resources and service providers, plan and manage grant-funded community-based projects, facilitate data collection/management for evaluation of community-based projects and strategic partnerships. The compensation plan for this position is flexible and highly competitive.

Veterans Recovery Resources is a community-based organization that seeks to remove barriers to high-quality, compassionate, and affordable mental health and primary care services for military service members, Veterans, first responders and their families. Since the opening of an outpatient clinic in November 2018, this mission has been fulfilled via synergistic efforts of an inter-professional team of behavioral health providers, peer support specialists, veteran peer ambassadors, community partners, and stakeholders (for details, see www.vetsrecover.org). Looking ahead, Vets Recover will continue to expand its innovative approach to caring for Service Members, Veterans, First Responders and their families.

Veterans Recovery Resources is located in Mobile, Alabama, on the Gulf of Mexico. Roughly 500,000 persons reside within a 25-mile radius of downtown Mobile. Our region is ethnically diverse and features a moderate maritime climate, a modest cost of living, and ample recreational opportunities.
