Filling A Gap In Veteran Mental Health.

Our Organization.
We collaborate with the VA to address the sheer volume of Veterans seeking help in the community. So we created Veterans Recovery Resources to fill the gaps in care and provide a by-Veteran, for-Veteran approach in a non-profit environment for Veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors
Our Mission.
Accelerate Veteran well-being by removing the barriers to mental healthcare and providing a unique recovery program for Veterans and their families suffering from substance abuse, post-traumatic stress and other mental health issues.
Serving your country can bring a unique set of challenges. We’ve been there. Those challenges can be overcome. By doing so, it lends fresh hope for those who are struggling to enjoy better days ahead. For Veterans, By Veterans.
THE CARE VETERANS NEED
Because Their Service To Us Never Ends.
For Veterans,
By Veterans.
A New Approach.
A New Facility.
It began as a vision. Today, the first step of Veterans Recovery Resources is a reality with our new Outpatient Clinic at 1156 Springhill Avenue. Inside our doors, Veterans will find more than treatment. They’ll find hope.
Our Outpatient Clinic is a place where Veterans and family members seeking comfort and resolution can talk to others who have been there. Where we meet the highest standards of professional care while creating an environment of peace and compassion.
Centrally located near downtown Mobile, our Outpatient Clinic is ideally situated to serve the region in a host of different ways. Our 3-acre campus will include not only residential care in the future, but a range of supporting programs and services.
Community Driven.
Part Of The Solution. Part Of The Community.
We exist to help Veterans return successfully to civilian life. We’re honored to enjoy the support of businesses, military, civic, healthcare, religious organizations and philanthropies from throughout the region. When a community comes together, all things are possible.

Payment Flexibility.
We Find A Way.
All Veterans, Service Members and their families should be able to receive care without red tape. In an effort to provide care to the broadest range of needs in our community, Veterans Recovery Resources defines Veterans as any person who served in the U.S. military for at least one day (whether past or present). We provide care to military service members, Veterans, families, caregivers and survivors regardless of their ability to pay.
In addition to serving as a VA Community Care contractor and accepting Tricare as well as a variety of commercial insurance, we also offer other payment options, sliding scale and charity care. Veterans Recovery Resources will provide, without discrimination, care for emergency mental health conditions to individuals regardless of their eligibility for financial assistance or for government assistance.
